Downstairs at Hi-Tone, the drum machines start at 10:30 and don't apologize. Cold synths, basslines with a pulse, and reverb-drenched guitar built for people who dance with their eyes closed.
Modern darkwave, gothic, and post-punk: the new stuff you haven't worn out yet, sitting next to the records you've had memorized since you were sixteen. Fog, low light, and a room that rewards commitment.
