The Bay Area's premier dance choreography competition Superhuman is set to take place on September 28 2024 at Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley. This highly anticipated event will feature ten of the most innovative choreographers in the region showcasing their talents and vying for top honors in an evening of spectacular performances. In preparation for this event 401K Dance Company is hosting a series of workshops dance classes taught by 3 of the competing choreographers to fundraise for the show. The workshops will be taught by Jaron Wong Tarik Rollerson and Georgi Carmack. A donation-based preview of the docuseries that is documenting this process will be shown afterwards.
"We are thrilled to bring together such exceptional talent and provide a stage for these incredible artists" said Emerson Aquino Artistic Director of Superhuman. "Our mission is to celebrate the creativity and dedication of choreographers and inspire future generations of dancers."
In addition to captivating performances the event will feature a panel of esteemed judges including renowned dance leaders from the Bay Area. Winners will receive cash prizes and recognition for their exceptional artistry. Superhuman is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of community and creativity. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with dance and music.

Superhuman is hosted by the 401K Dance Company a well-respected entity in the dance community known for its dedication to promoting dance and fostering talent.
