Bikers For Action SW are appealing for Superheroes again for little Stanley please come and join us for fun day's/weekend of riding and beaming smiles.
As many of you know our Grandson Stanley was diagnosed with brain tumour in December 2021.
Since then it has spread with another tumour appearing on the brain and one on his spine, original tumour has stabilised after ongoing treatment, the second has shrunk, the one on spine removed after an operation, during his treatment I through my group BIKERS FOR ACTION SW set up the Superhero FUNraiser Ride (first one 2022, again in 2023 and 2024) to specifically put a much needed smile on Stanley's and family faces. In May 2023 we had more devastating news that another tumour had appeared on Stanley’s brain and at present is on Palliative Care.
So I'm calling on you beautiful bikers (Stanley's biker family) not only in Bikers For Action SW but also other bike groups to once again join me in riding to Essex as Superheroes (of any kind) to help raise more smiles and more importantly memories for Stanley and family.
Once again we will be meeting at ASMPT Car Park, Albany Road, Granby Industrial Estate, Weymouth, DT4 9TH and leaving at 08.30am SHARP.
This year we will be finishing the ride at The Willow, Hodings Road, Harlow CM20 1NN.
Jo at The Willow is also going to incorporate a Superhero Fun Day for us, there will also be a BBQ, Hot & Cold drinks and there will be music too TBA
There will be no fee to join the ride because of the mileage involved and an overnight stay if needed and it's a FUNraiser not a fundraiser.
SADLY this is not Learner friendly as we are taking quickest route involving motorways, apologies to you learner riders..
So on July 5th 2025 dress up and become a Superhero, ride 160+ miles as a Superhero and meet our own little Superhero Stanley and put a well deserved beaming smile on his face..
Let's make it better than the 2024 ride which was awesome believe me it was awesome the best one so far, so much laughter and smiles not only from us but from the public all the way from Weymouth to Dorset
