Two days of turbocharged lighting instruction and portfolio building model photography in one of London’s most elite studios - - with the dynamic duo, and . Joe brings 40+ years of experience to the subject at hand every time he puts his camera to his eye. His mental rolodex of lighting tips, cues, applications, and quick fixes is legendary. Seth Miranda is lighting personified, and teaches with a panache and verve unequaled in this industry. No one has a better handle on the latest in photo technology than Seth - so bring your questions! A two-day format allows you to galvanize your lighting skills and refine your approach to portraiture. The workshop is designed to push your skills with light and at camera so you can experience a transformation to then continue with your own portrait work.

Info: We begin the first session with models as Joe and Seth do demonstrations and then the class will break up into small teams to photograph the talent.

Info: We build on the morning session with our talent and different lighting scenarios to then rotate into more complex demonstrations with multiple strobes and gels. Joe and Seth continue to provide an ongoing Q&A of location assessment and lighting.

Info: The group joins in a Q&A session to assess successes and failures, and establish goals for Day 2.

Info: Photographers can build on what they tried the previous day and/or try something new in the model rotation throughout the studio.

Info: We accelerate into the afternoon with more advanced techniques including gels and also photographing multiple models. It will be a fast-paced fun afternoon to really address camera technique and lighting approaches.

Info: Joe and Seth will review sample images taken to illustrate approaches for discussion, and share how the lessons taught can be applied to each photographer's own style and intent.

Info: The second day begins with a quick critique of the first day’s images. Joe and Seth answer all technical and aesthetic questions to ensure success before kicking-off the model sessions.
