Ummmmm should we do this? It's been awhile. We stopped because actual SMF went back to the Sheraton. But that was only once, and a while ago. And certain recent... events... have left some folks with some unsavory feelings towards our once beloved SMF get together, so again, shoulllllld we?
I set this on the weekend before Thanksgiving, which is around the traditional time. This date can be changed. In fact, all of this can be changed.
Ultimately, the way it would work is this: book a room at the Framingham Sheraton. Book several rooms if you want. Then go to the hotel. Now you're a guest. Now you can use their common areas, including their bar. Now you can dress up however you want to or wear insane amounts of loosely feathered, colorful boas. And coincidentally, a potentially great number of your friends might also be there on the same night! WEIRD!
Can they kick us out? Maybe. I'm not a goddamn lawyer. But we can try. And in the past, they actually WANTED us to be there (though I think that feeling might have evolved in recent years, who knows).
So again, should we? You're invited. Everyone is invited. I'm not in charge of the Sheraton. Someone else is. But I can be in charge of loosely coordinating this nonsense, and I'm always glad to see all you weird knuckleheads.
