SIU Credit Union, with the assistance of WPSD Local 6, again plans to host several Super Shredder events during 2021. These events allow individuals to bring up to 50 pounds of personal documents to be shredded on-site for free. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to one of our local food pantries.We will be implementing the following COVID protocol:
• All people bringing items to shred must stay in their cars and wear masks.
• All workers will also be wearing masks and gloves and there will be hand sanitizer available.
Examples of items that can be brought for shredding:
• Credit Union / Bank Statements and Old Checks
• Medical & Insurance Forms
• Anything with your Social Security number on it
• Retired Tax Forms (over 3 years old)
• Credit Card Statements
