THE BEST WBL Ever! We ride every Sunday starting early for the 2026 season, on December 7th. Historically we go until the 1st Hincapie Spring Training Series event of the year, so about 7-8 rides!

What's so super secret!? Don't worry, it's not! Back when Rocket and Ben moved to the Upstate they had a long standing WBL that went south of town, they stopped hosting the ride right about the time they moved here. The ride was mostly flat and was HUGE. It became too unsafe of a ride with it being such an "easy" route south of town.
At that time Ben and Rocket were racing full time and there was a HUGE crew of pro's in town. They decide to start a much harder WBL with more selective roads going north of town. The ride was dubbed "Super Secret Winter Bike League" at the time. Fast forward to now, Ben and Rocket are much slower and still love to pretend to be fast. The ride is anything but secret, we have a very healthy A group and B group. Our main goal with this ride is to help develop young racers and new riders in general.
The ride details:
We offer an A&B group with multiple ride leaders and often a sag vehicle when it's cold for when it's time to throw the gloves off. Our A ride is no joke, you will probably get dropped the first time, but you have next week to come back and figure out where you screwed up! This is how you get better! Our B group is much more chill and laid back. The A group offers out famous attack zones. We keep a chill zone 2-3 pace riding 2 abreast, until we don't. When the ride leader comes to the front and blows the whistle that means it's a full on race until the next stop ahead sign. We will never race through intersections, stop signs or crazy downhills. We race for honor, the experience and most importantly COOKIES! Our B group is just as much fun, just minus the attacking.
Routes: We ride a new route each week, we announce the route usually a few days out. We increase the distance each week.
