About this Event

SUNSPLITTER:

In the finale of the Beasts of the Void duology, former smuggler Fi and her immortal, monstrous lover Antal fight to build a peaceful haven after years of bloodshed. But when Antal's ruthless father summons him home, their fragile peace shatters.

Haunted by a deadly past and forced into uneasy alliances with dangerous immortals, Fi and Antal must confront both family betrayal and a terrifying new creature that even the gods fear. As they battle threats across the planes, the lovers face their hardest challenge yet -- protecting their world without losing each other.

ABOUT S.A. MACLEAN:

S. A. MacLean is a bestselling adult fantasy author. Infatuated with magical worlds since her days of brewing mud potions in her childhood garden, she fell in love with the romantasy genre after realizing all her favorite fantasy novels had kisses in them. Her stories feature quirky humor, sassy animal companions, and queer casts who represent her voice as a chaotic bisexual woman.

Sarah received her BS in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a PhD in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley. During 15 years in academia, she’s trained falcons and hawks, lived on an island in Maine to study seagull behavior, mapped impacts of climate change on bird distributions across California, and taught as a community college professor. Her ecology background seeps into her fantasy worlds as odd plants and an obnoxious number of bird references.

She lives in Seattle, WA with her partner and two mischievous cats.

ABOUT LAURA R. SAMOTIN:

Laura R. Samotin and her spouse live with two enormously large felines. When she’s not pursuing her academic research on military tactics, power politics, and leadership, she relishes her role as a full-time cat servant.
