Sunshine & Strings

Come join us for a delightful afternoon of music with Sunshine & Strings! You get to be the musician with a ukulele strum-a-long (please bring your own instrument or there will be a handful to check-out onsite). After we take our own turn, we get to sit back and welcome back to Reed Park the gorgeous performance ensemble, String Theory. String Theory combines music, movement, and large-scale sound sculptures to bring you a one-of-a-kind experience. This one is not to be missed!

Gather & Grow invites the community to spend a day relaxing and playing in Reed Park while enjoying a range of artistic experiences. There will be activities for children and adults beginning at 4pm. Each event offers a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on art making, take in the natural surroundings, and spend time grooving to music, watching incredible performances, and having fun with the whole family!

While we highly recommend guests RSVP via Eventbrite for updates, all events are free, family friendly and do not require reservations. For events outside in Reed Park, guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, food and (non-alcoholic) beverages.

Info: Grab your own ukulele and join in on the fun! Crystal will lead you through the basics and everyone will play along to popular tunes. A limited supply of ukuleles will be available to check out onsite at the event.
