Sunset yoga

Welcome to Studio 131's Sunset Yoga

As you settle onto your mat, take a few deep ujjayi breaths to ground yourself in the present moment. Karen will guide you through a series of sun salutations to warm up your body and build heat. Throughout the class, you will flow through a dynamic sequence of asanas, incorporating chaturanga dandasana, upward-facing dog, and downward-facing dog to strengthen your upper body and core.

Focus on your drishti (gaze) to maintain balance during standing postures like warrior II and triangle pose. As you move through the class, listen to Kirana's cues to find your edge and explore variations of the asanas to challenge yourself. Finally, wind down with some gentle hip openers and a well-deserved savasana to quiet your mind and fully integrate your practice. Namaste.
