Sunset Yoga and Sound Bowl Social - Special Edition

Join us for a special edition of our Sunset Yoga and Sound Bowl Wellness Social on Thursday, June 1 from 6:30-9pm at MANA Impact of Mana Common. This evening will celebrate the power of community and connection for your well-being as we conclude Mental Health Month which also coincides with Cafe Namaste's anniversary.

• The Why - Intro talk with Sam on mental health, working with orphaned youth and genocide survivors in Rwanda and creating Cafe Namaste

The wellness social begins at 6:30pm and will feature friends of Cafe Namaste, including Bolay vegan bols, Forager Project smoothies, Smartwater, Qunno energy bars, and special complimentary chair massages by Massage Luxe Downtown Miami (facial and massage giveaways plus discounts on services). You'll also have a chance to learn about some of the non-profits we work with in the downtown area.

Sam will start the class by sharing her journey from working in post-genocide Rwanda with orphaned youth to becoming a yoga teacher and ultimately creating Cafe Namaste in 2019. She'll then guide you through a soulful slower-paced class to relax and restore your body. The class will end with the harmonizing sounds of quartz sound bowls from Cathy Gomez to encourage a state of deep rest.

Please bring a mat. Event is indoors on the 8th floor. Some extras may be available (limited supply). Check-in opens at 6:30PM.

This is a special edition of our sound bowl wellness social. Tickets are $35 and sliding scale - "contribute what you can" with $10 minimum to make it accessible. About Sam Reynolds:

Sam Reynolds is the founder of Cafe Namaste™. She's a lifestyle architect, yoga teacher and creative entrepreneur. Sam is passionate about uplifting others through a holistic approach to well-being. Her mission is to help others find a healthy balance and she believes everyone has the potential to thrive. After living overseas for six years in Europe and Africa, Sam never imagined that her most significant trip would be the journey inward. Her experiences abroad ultimately led her to study yoga. Prior to transforming her life, Sam worked in Rwanda at a non-profit, Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, for orphaned teens and created educational programs in Prague, Czech Republic on 20th century European history and Holocaust studies for the University of Miami, her alma mater.

She created the concept of Cafe Namaste as a yoga and plant-based brunch experience at a rooftop in downtown Miami to give people a chance to reset and recharge in a holistic way. She wanted to help people feel empowered, inspired and connected beyond the studio class. Sam envisioned a holistic space for wellness, connection and growth. Cafe Namaste has since grown to include a variety of classes, events, and social impact initiatives to promote personal and societal well-being.
