With it's spacious open air atmosphere and set right on the Oakland waterfront, this venue is an ideal place to enjoy a a beautiful concert, at sunset, with your loved ones or solo.

Sunset Sundays is PROUD to be an ALL AGES show, and CHILDREN UNDER 12 ARE FREE! Bring the entire family to experience the beauty of live music on the waterfront.

• 4pm : Doors Open
• 5-6pm : First Set
• 6-6:15pm : Intermission
• 6:15-7pm : Second Set
• 7-8pm : Hang/Chill Time
• 8pm : Exit (Goodnight!)

Come early and enjoy a sunset cocktail hour (with wine and beer) at Rocky's Market Brooklyn Basin.

Kitchen open until 8:00pm - Drinks served until 8:00pm

Wheelchair accessible. Dogs welcome (on leash & under voice control). No outside food or drink allowed (please support the venue).

Senegalese master musician Massamba Diop was the lead drummer in the Marvel blockbuster film "BLACK PANTHER" and has performed for 30+ years with African superstar Baaba Maal. He has also recorded/perfromed with Peter Gabriel, Herbie Hancock and James Brown.

Massamba won the 2018 Grammy and Oscar awards for his work on the Black Panther Film, and brings a stellar group of crack musicians for this special concert of RHYTHM and SOUL music, including Regina Wells (Rashida Oji), Bobby Wallace (Airto Moreira, Margareth Menezes), Wade Peterson, and Lillie Robinson.

Lady Bianca is a Force to be Reckoned With!!! Songwriter, arranger and vocalist Lady Bianca is a Grammy-nominated recording artist who has depicted Billie Holiday on stage and released six solo albums. She's bringing her OAKLAND BLUES to the waterfront for this amazing, open-air celebration of the blues!

OIGC, a “treasured Bay Area institution,” was named “Best Gospel Choir” in 2006 and was the winner in the “Best Church Music” category in 2009 in the East Bay Express Reader’s Polls. OIGC Director Terrance Kelly was awarded the Dr. Edwin Hawkins Excellence Award in 2013.
