Join us for a relaxed, collective making session as the sun sets over Old Town Quarry.
We’ll explore the basics of spinning wool into yarn using a simple drop spindle - one of the oldest foundations of textile making, the starting point for so much of what we wear and use today.
This is a slow, hands-on session where we learn together, connect with materials, and take time out from the rush of everyday life. Expect making, chatting, and a shared sense of focus as we work with fibre,in place and with each other.
No experience needed - everything is designed so you can try it straight away at your own pace.
