Sunset Sound Bath Session at the Japanese Tea Garden

On Friday, October 7th ease into your evening with a cleansing, meditative sunset sound bath experience at the historic Japanese Tea Garden in Brackenridge Park led by sound bath practitioner, Amy Norton. From 6p-7p, those in attendance will be “bathed” in sound waves. These waves can be produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and tuning forks.

Sound bath participants will also enjoy 2 complimentary beverages and 1 appetizer from the Jingu House restaurant. Purchasers may choose between traditional and spirit-free cocktails.

A limited number of blankets will be provided for guests to relax and meditate on. No special attire is required and guests may bring their own blanket, yoga mat, or lawn chair for maximum comfort during the sound bath.

After the sound bath, stick around for a live performance by Sunshine Jones, presented by Southtown Vinyl and the San Antonio Parks Foundation.
