Sunset Socials: For those who hate small talk and love topics!
About this Event
Boston has plenty of networking events.
But not enough spaces where ambitious adults can show up as actual people first.
Sunset Socials are a guided sunset picnic experience created by Recess Revival in collaboration with Pretty Picnic Boston for people who take what they do seriously, but not themselves.
This is not a mixer where you stand around wondering who to talk to.
This is not speed dating.
This is not a business-card exchange disguised as community.
This is a relaxed, thoughtfully designed picnic near the water where you can come alone, meet new people, enjoy the sunset, and have conversations that go deeper than “So, what do you do?”
What to Expect
Join us for an intentional evening of connection, conversation, and adult recess.
You can expect:
- A curated picnic atmosphere by Pretty Picnic Boston
- Guided conversation prompts
- Small-group and partner discussion rounds
- Curated music playlists
- Yard Games
- Sunset views
- Old School Recess Games
- A welcoming environment for solo attendees
- Low-pressure connection with thoughtful, ambitious adults
- Space to laugh, reflect, and meet people beyond job titles
The goal is simple:
better questions, better conversations, better community.
Who This Is For
This event is for you if you are:
- A founder, entrepreneur, creative, remote worker, student, or professional

You do not need to come with a friend.
In fact, this event is designed so you can arrive alone and feel included immediately.
Why Come Alone?
Because most adults are quietly looking for better ways to meet people.
The event is structured with guided prompts, conversation rotations, and host-led introductions so you know exactly where to go, who to talk to, and how to join in.
Come alone.
Leave with names, stories, laughs, and maybe even a few new people you actually want to follow up with.
