Oh when it's sunny, that's the time to be funny. When the sun goes down, bring out the clown.At Sunset Comedy, presented by On The Run Comedy Club, we celebrate the return of summer by laughing together every second Friday. Come down to Flaneuse, a super cosy secret rooftop spot at the harbour, and chime in the weekend the right way, laughing with a full stomach while the sun goes down!
TO FIND THE VENUE: Go approximately to Uferstrasse 40, where there will be signs guiding you behind the big red boat. Look out for the large graffiti of Malala! Should you not be able to find it, contact @teddyhallcomedy on instagram or the Facebook page directly.
Every two weeks we will have a line up of great comedians and one headliner that will do a longer set. The show will be hosted by Teddy Hall and Albert Louw. We will feature a headline long set from the very talented Leila Ladhari. Show begin is 19:30, the venue will be open for drinks and food from 18:30. The show will take about 90 minutes, including a break in the middle.
As this is an outdoor show without an indoor alternative, there is always a chance of late notice cancellation, weather depending. Essentially, if it is not raining heavily or a predicted hurricane, the show will take place.
The show is entirely free entry with donations being collected at the end of the show. Donations go towards the showrunners and the headlining act. Cheap drinks and food made just for the show will be sold there, so we strongly advise bringing cash. After the show we can all share a drink together!
