This year's Sunset Cinema presented by Coca-Cola is celebration of animation, offering adventures spanning the entire genre and promising a favorite for every fan. Together with Denver Film, Denver Arts & Venues is presenting a lineup of five films that will take us to fantastical lands, from the mind of Wes Anderson to the Spider-Verse, complete with a cast of captivating characters, international intrigue and super-sized superhero escapades.
Before each screening, sit back, relax and enjoy a showcase of work from CU Denver's Digital Animation Center students. No movie night in the park would be complete without themed photo booth experiences and lawn games plus food trucks, drinks and other cinema snacks available for purchase.
All events are FREE, but please register so we know how many movie lovers to expect.
- Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
- Pre-show entertainment starts at 7:00 p.m.
- Films begin at 7:30 p.m.
Limited seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Arrive early and enter before 7 p.m. for your chance to win a VIP seat upgrade and prize pack from Coca-Cola at each screening!

THE FILM

Down-on-his-luck private eye Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) gets hired by cartoon producer R.K. Maroon (Alan Tilvern) to investigate an adultery scandal involving Jessica Rabbit (Kathleen Turner), the sultry wife of Maroon's biggest star, Roger Rabbit (Charles Fleischer). But when Marvin Acme (Stubby Kaye), Jessica's alleged paramour and the owner of Toontown, is found murdered, the villainous Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) vows to catch and destroy Roger.
