Buckle up for a neuroscientific departure from your morning commute! Dr. Kelly Lambert, Professor of Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Richmond, has turned over the keys … to rats. You read that correctly: her team taught the small, furry, long-tailed mammals to drive “Rodent-Operated Vehicles” in a brain study.Join Dr. Lambert for her Sunrise Science presentation as she walks through her rodent-training research and explains why it’s important for humans on and off the road.
Event details:
Sunrise Science begins at 8 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. so you can grab a complimentary cup of coffee to enjoy during the talk. Each presentation includes time for audience questions at the end. The event will conclude by 9 a.m. so you can continue on with your day, but with a little extra science to fill your cup of knowledge!
Sunrise Science events are FREE. Tickets are capped due to fixed seating in The Dome. Guests will be asked to fill all available seats.
