Just because the fossils are old doesn’t mean the technology used to examine them has to be. Join us for coffee and a morning discussion about present-day paleontology.At the August 25 Sunrise Science, hear from Dr. Jennifer “Indy” Anné about how researchers are using modern technology to reexamine fossils. Anné will share how new technological applications of physics, chemistry and computer engineering have revitalized paleontology in the 21st century.
Registration information:
Sunrise Science begins at 8 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. so you can grab a complimentary cup of coffee or tea to enjoy during the talk. Each presentation includes time for audience questions at the end. The event will conclude by 9 a.m. so you can continue on with your day, but with a little extra science to fill your cup of knowledge!
Sunrise Science events are free. Tickets are capped due to fixed seating in The Dome. Guests will be asked to fill all available seats.
