Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Adventure

Celebrate Veterans Day with Veterans Exploration Therapy (VET) on an unforgettable Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Adventure. This exclusive event is an opportunity for 12 veterans to experience a sense of freedom and awe from a unique perspective, fostering a deep sense of peace and community.

This journey is about more than just a ride, it’s about finding perspective and sharing a new experience with fellow veterans. To accommodate more participants, we will be flying two hot air balloons! The trip includes an approximate one-hour flight over the stunning Colorado landscape, a continental breakfast, and a traditional celebratory toast.

• Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Veterans Day)
• Time: 6:30 AM – 9:45 AM
• Location: Radisson Hotel Lobby, 1645 Newport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80916
• Included: Approximately one hour of flight time, continental breakfast, celebratory toast, and an aeronaut flight certificate

Important Requirements for All Participants

• Weather Cancellation & Backup Date Disclaimer: Hot Air Balloon flights are highly weather-dependent. For your safety, approximately 25–30% of all trips are canceled or postponed due to wind, fog, or unfavorable conditions. If the flight is canceled due to weather, the backup date is set for Thursday, November 13, 2025. Please keep both dates open as your reservation is valid for the backup date.
• Weight Requirement: All participants must be under 250 lbs. This is a strict safety requirement for balloon balance and is enforced by our guide company. To comply with FAA safety regulations, our guide company, AdvOutWest, will discreetly weigh all participants at check-in. We also ask that you provide your current weight during the registration process (or you will be contacted via email shortly after registration) to help with pre-flight weight and balance calculations.

• Health and Safety: Participants must be at least 6 years old and may not be pregnant. All guests must sign a liability waiver prior to the flight.
• What to Wear: Please wear closed-toe shoes. We recommend dressing in layers, as it can be chilly in the morning. A jacket, hat, gloves, and warm socks are a good idea for the weather.
• Water: Please bring a full water bottle.

Info: Conclude the adventure with a continental breakfast and a celebratory champagne or sparkling cider toast. All participants will receive an Aeronaut Flight Certificate.
