About this Event
After two sold-out editions in 2019 and 2022, Sunrise Aotearoa returns in September 2023. This year, the creativity and ideas festival will take over Auckland’s Shed 10 for a day of stories and ideas from the best founders, to inspire a whole new generation of creators and inventors.

Our first speaker announcement drops late June.
Sunrise is created by Blackbird, a venture capital fund investing in Australia and New Zealand’s most ambitious startups. We created Sunrise in 2014 as our love letter to founders, and in the years since we’ve sold out five years of festivals, hosted more than 6000 travellers and met more incredible people than we could even count. We can’t wait to do it all over again in 2023.
