🌻✨ Sunflower U-Pick at Big Jim Farms! ✨🌻
A new harvest of sunflowers is now in bloom at Big Jim Farms! Our famous Sunflower U-Pick is officially open for the season—featuring not only golden sunflowers but also a variety of vibrant blooms like zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, and wildflowers.
We provide everything you need to gather your bouquet, including clippers and mason jars—just bring yourself (and your camera 📸) to soak in the memories.

Weekend Flower Arranging Workshops – Learn the basics of floral design and create something beautiful with your fresh-picked blooms. (Book in advance online.)
Mini Photo Sessions – In collaboration with Hillary Christina Photography, we’re offering $75 family photo sessions right in the flower fields. Perfect for engagements, graduations, or family keepsakes. (Book online in advance.)
Exclusive Farm Photoshoots – Have your own photographer? You can reserve our fields as your backdrop.
🌶 Chile U-Pick is Here!
Our world-famous green chile harvest has officially started! From mild to XXX hot, all grown organically without sprays, pesticides, or fertilizers—you can’t get fresher than picking chile straight off the plant.
🍯 Farm Stand Open Daily: Fresh-picked produce, honey, salsa, and more.

3521 Rio Grande Blvd NW (West side of Rio Grande, between Candelaria & Griegos)
🚗 Parking: FREE – please park on the south side of the farm along Arbor Road by the fence line. Kindly avoid neighbors’ driveways.
🕗 Hours: Daily, 8 AM – 6 PM
🐶 Pets: Not allowed (food safety regulations)
💵 Cost: Free entry—pay only for what you pick. Bouquets (with mason jar) average $20. Green chile is priced per basket, produce by the pound.
🌞 Tips for Your Visit:
This is a working farm—expect uneven ground and open skies. Wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, water, and sunscreen. Drinks are available on weekends. Pack a picnic or enjoy one of our many picnic tables for a relaxing day on the farm.
