Sunday Xpress - Fundraiser for Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group

Just to let everyone know, August's edition of Sunday Xpress is going to be a little different.
It will be raising money for the Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group, and my good friend Akram Khiari will be helping me host the evening.
I have decided not to have large scale bands at this particular show, as some of the service users attending may find that overwhelming.
But don't worry, we still have some great mainstays of Sunday Xpress performing, including:
Stephen Green - An electric fiddle player, yes you read that right! You will be amazed at the high energy performance such an instrument is capable of! A perfect way to start the show.
Frankling - A rapper/poet/singer who is bringing their guitarist AND drummer with them this time! I have also given them permission to plug their album!
Yours truly Matt Recardo aka KardoThePoet - I will be performing with Frankling. We will be doing our recorded track again, which will officially be released sometime this month.
Thomas Hill - A singer and guitarist who I met through the legend that was Brendan Higgins, and who brings the rock to Sunday Xpress 🤟
The Faux Pas - A group that play American folk music and blues, lead by Marcus Taylor
Robin Jax aka RobinPlaysChords - Someone that I am almost certain has magical powers when it comes to playing guitar!
When all booked acts have finished playing, there will be an open mic section hosted by Akram and myself. This is to give a chance to audience members and service users to have their moment in the spotlight!
