Sunday Twerk Service is a safe space for women to release, reconnect, and have fun through movement, music, and community.

Twerking has roots in African spiritual and cultural practices connected to releasing stagnant energy stored in the womb/sacral chakra. The Sacral Chakra is located just below the navel and is associated with creativity, pleasure, sexuality, confidence, emotional balance, and self-expression.

When stagnant energy sits in the womb space, it can show up as creative blocks, hyper-sexuality, emotional heaviness, shame around pleasure, or feeling disconnected from your body and Yoni.

The Haus’ goal with Sunday Twerk Service is to create a space where we can move that energy out, laugh, sweat, connect, and heal together without judgment. This is not about being the best dancer or looking perfect. Hell, I can’t even fully twerk either — I just enjoy getting together with my girls, shaking some stress off, and releasing some bullshit at the same time.
