Three workshops:
14.00 - 15.15: Find your balance
We will work on organising the body to discharge our weight directly and effortlessly on our own base (and not elsewhere!). We will study this alignment on our own bodies and then in the embrace, to discover how to be in close contact without losing our ground. Applied to ochos, caminata, giro.
15.30 - 16.45: Boleos & Calecita
Leaders: make your follower shine!
Followers: show off your free leg and your balance with elegance and confidence.
We will spiral and draw with these all-time favorite moves.
17.00 - 18.15: Sacadas & Giros
Coordination, geometry and subtle body adjustment make all the difference when attempting sacadas and turns. Welcome to discover them at this workshop.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

After teaching in various dance schools in Gothenburg, Elodie founded ✨Connect With Joy✨ in 2019. In addition to her tango expertise, Elodie is a Gyrokinesis and Pilates instructor. With a deep understanding of the connection between emotion, body awareness and movement, Elodie is passionate about creating a meaningful dance experience for her students. She believes in exploring tango through contact and presence, making every dance step a journey in both soul and heart.
Love has jazz in his soul and tango in his body, making him a unique talent with a lifelong career dedicated to tango teaching and music pedagogy. You might have seen him on TV, sharing his musical talents with Arvingarna 😉. Love is also the band leader and woodwind signature of the Tango orchestra ✨Tangótica✨. His warmth and multi-faceted talents create a special experience for every participant in his tango classes.
