Sunday Streets Missoula is coming back to Higgins Ave!
For 4-hours on Sunday, Sept. 20th, Higgins Ave will transform into a welcoming, car-free space for people of all ages and abilities. The 1-mile route, from the XXXXs to 5th Street, will feature free fitness classes, live music, restaurants & local food options, and dozens of local businesses/organizations hosting activities and experiences for everyone to enjoy!
More than just a fun afternoon, Sunday Streets encourages us to imagine what our community can look like when we create more space for people. It’s an opportunity to experience our streets in a whole new way while building support for transportation choices that make Missoula more connected, accessible, and livable.
Sunday Streets is a reminder that our streets belong to everyone. You don’t have to own a car, ride a bike, or be an athlete - just come as you are, bring a friend or meet someone new, and enjoy the energy of Missoula coming together.
Come anytime between 12–4 p.m. and stay for as long as you’d like! Bring your friends, family, neighbors, and a little curiosity. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
