Let us gather and sing prayerfully together in the beauty and abundance of summer. We will uplift our voices and our energy and allow the healing waters of the river to carry our songs to all those in need. Please bring a musical instrument (drum, rattle, hands etc), water, and a blanket or something to sit on. If you are musical, please bring a simple song to lead the group in. I would like for this to be a co-created event!
Ideally the songs shared will be earth-based medicine/prayer songs that everyone can join in with easily!
We will gather in the parking lot at 4:30 PM and enjoy a short, silent walk through the natural area to the banks where we will settle into a circle and sing our hearts open.
Feel free to share this event, bring friends/children/elders, come if you don't think of yourself as a "singer", aren't sure what medicine songs are but feel drawn to attend.
