SOMA Breath uses rhythmic breathing and breath retentions paired with music and guided meditation to create an immersive and expansive experience. This style of breath work is amazing for regulating the nervous system, moving stuck emotions and energy, stress, anxiety, and reprogramming thought and habit patterns through getting in to the subconscious mind. There are so many physical, mental, and emotional benefits to having a regular breath work practice. Breath work changed my life for the better in so many ways, and I want to share that with the community. The breath is life. �Stefan specializes in SOMA breath work and will be conducting these events the first Sunday of every month right here at DaKava .�On January 5th at 830am we will be focusing on starting the year with intention. The breathing will be calm and relaxed to get you into an elevated state of consciousness from where you can start to live from intention. We will focus on visualizing how you want to show up for yourself in 2025, like its already happening, and making it real in your mind and body. We will also get in touch with anything you hold that doesn’t serve you anymore so you can begin to let that go and let yourself evolve. The breathing session will be around 30 minutes long. ��
In the following months we will expand on this concept and evolve the vision of how you want to show up for yourself this year. We will explore visualization through the mind and body and through emotion. ���
Please join us for these intimate and communal sessions. The suggested donation is $15 per person. Please bring a yoga mat and pillow for your head, as we do these sessions lying down. A cover for your eyes and blankets are optional, but recommended. Wear comfortable clothes, you want to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible. ���
Disclaimer: Rhythmic breathing is always ok, but there are some contraindications that may require you to refrain from breath retentions. If you are pregnant, have any heart conditions, tinnitus, or any other medical condition you may be concerned about, please refrain from doing breath retentions. You are still welcome to come to the session, but we will have you continue to breathe in rhythms during the breath retentions. ��
