Improvised music workshop at STØBERIET, open to musicians of all levels and backgrounds. Whether you’ve never tried improvisation before or you’ve been doing it for years, this session is built to meet you where you are.
We’ll spend the afternoon exploring how to listen more deeply and respond more intuitively. Through a series of guided exercises, we’ll work on fine-tuning the ear, developing musical awareness, and becoming more comfortable in the openness of improvisation. These activities are simple, playful, and adaptable, making it easy for everyone to take part.
The aim is curiosity. As a group we will be discovering new ways of connecting with sound, with each other, and with your own musical instincts. There will be room for questions, for trying things out, and for short group improvisations where we can immediately apply what we’ve explored.
Bring your instrument, your voice, or anything you like to make sound with. Most importantly, bring a sense of openness.
Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is required.
PLS Note that the workshop is held at Støberiet across the square!
Later in the evening there will be a concert with participants and Anton Toorell solo
