He has been married to Tessa for almost 35 years. They have two daughters: Cassidy, 27, and Katie, 20. Eddie has bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Mathematics from Mississippi State University and Mississippi University for Women respectively. He also earned a Master’s degree in Math education from UAB. Eddie is nearing completion of a Master of Theology degree from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. He joined the church in May of 2023. He also practices Buddhism with the Cahaba River Sangha.
