About Our Current Sermon Series:
Everyone has an opinion about Jesus.
He's been called a good teacher, a moral example, a historical figure, a personal life coach, and a cosmic vending machine for blessings. People claim his name, wear it on their dog tags, post it on their social media — and yet when you dig a little deeper, the Jesus they describe looks remarkably like themselves.
But what if the real Jesus is far more compelling, more challenging, and more life-changing than any version we could invent?
This is exactly why we're opening the Gospel of Mark.
Mark doesn't waste a single word. His gospel is fast-moving, raw, and urgent — written for people who need to see Jesus in action, not just hear about him in theory. Story by story, we will watch Jesus heal the sick, silence demons, forgive sinners, confront the religious elite, calm storms, raise the dead, and ultimately walk willingly toward a cross. And with every story, we will ask two questions: Who is this man? And what does that mean for my life?
This isn't a series about religion. It's about a person. And after 16 weeks together, our prayer is that you won't just know more about Jesus, you'll know him.
