Sunday Serenade

The ladies of the Chesterfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., are hosting its third annual fundraising event, Sunday Serenade...Love Jones, Valentines Edition; at the CineBistro, Stony Point Fashion Park.
Join us for an intimate afternoon of sultry LIVE R&B music featuring artist David Lyve, CTR and special featured artist. Cuddle up, relax, and recline in large comfy leather seats, while enjoying fine tunes, fine dining, and adult beverages. Food and beverage options are available for purchase and is not included in the ticket price. Seating will begin at and arrival at 1:30pm is encouraged to place any desired in-theatre food or drink orders.
A 50/50 Cash raffle will be held. Please have cash in hand to participate.
Proceeds from this event supports the Chesterfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., programs, and scholarships.

Our encore featured artist, David Lyve, and his band CTR (Controlling the Room) are a powerhouse of talent hailing from Richmond, VA. David has made his mark on the global stage as part of a sold-out world tour with the multi-platinum group Ready for the World. As a solo artist, he has released three highly successful albums and is currently crafting his fourth original project, It's.Been.A.Week.

David's extraordinary contributions to music have earned him two prestigious city citations from Philadelphia for musical excellence, as well as a commemorative plaque for his unforgettable performance on the legendary Apollo Theater stage. He has even showcased his versatility with a role in the Broadway musical The Harder They Come. As a touring guitarist, he has shared the stage with icons such as Missy Elliott and Marsha Ambrosius.

And the excellence doesn’t stop there! David Lyve and CTR continue to "Control the Room" with electrifying performances. From dropping fresh singles like Water Into Wine to lighting up major stages such as New York Fashion Week, "The Venue" in California, the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre, and winning the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance ‘Support’ Award, they’ve been unstoppable. CTR has also toured with some of your favorite artists, including Ginuwine, Angie Stone, and Anthony Hamilton.
