We hope you can join us on September 14 (NOT September 7 as first posted--sorry for the typo)! It's time for our traditional fall gathering! Come join your guinea pig friends for a relaxing afternoon of grass, sunshine, and fun on the lawn of Wellesley's Town Hall. We welcome anyone with a love for these adorable creatures, whether or not you share your home with any of them.
There is plenty of parking nearby on Washington Street and Grove Street.
On arrival, sign in and check with the Pig Patrol to make sure your pigs are free of mites, ringworm, or other contagious health conditions. Bring your own enclosure if you do not wish to put your pigs in the large community pens. Bring blankets and chairs and picnic gear. Some nearby food options include Rice Burg (https://www.riceburg1.com/) directly across Washington Street, for Asian bowls, burgers, and bubble tea, and ice cream and desserts just up Grove Street at Truly's Cafe. (https://trulys.com/). Restrooms at the Wellesley Public Library and the restaurants.
