As encouraged by The Church of God recommendations, I plan to host a region wide Sunday School training day on June 26, 2021. This will be a half day event located at the church in Batesville, AR, lunch will also be provided. Sunday School is a vital teaching arm of the Church tasked with nurturing and developing souls into a fuller and richer spiritual life. Utilizing the Sunday School auxiliary to its fullest potential is one way to help your local church flourish. During this event, we will delve into the functions of this wonderful auxiliary and explore what it means to have a Sunday School that is ALIVE and THRIVING! With this in mind, all personnel with appointments directly associated with Sunday School should be encouraged to attend. This includes; Superintendents, Sunday School teachers (or any licensed teacher), Ushers, VBS coordinators, Cradle Roll operators, and Extension department leaders. I understand Batesville might be quite a drive for some of our members. If you and your church cannot attend in person, I ask that each Superintendent would correspond with the local SS personnel to schedule time to watch the event on the 26th of June. This may be at the local church or in a convenient residence with access to Wifi. The event will be live streamed on the Regional Sunday School Facebook page. At the end of the event, there will be opportunity to share ideas, testimonies, and success stories. If your church would like to share a testimony concerning your work, you may have that typed up and sent to me.
