Every believer in Christ will experience a battle for Paul wrote of the war that rages on inside us between the flesh and the Spirit (Gal 5). We all will experience intense warfare as God's seeks to live out himself in us, while the old nature of sin in our mortal body seeks to reign.
But God has us his spirit (2 Tim. 1:7), his word (2 Tim 3:16-17) and a whole support group of witnesses we can call on for help (Heb 12:1).
