Sunday Reset: A Sunday Morning Breath Journey
About this Event
Imagine starting your Sunday not with a scroll and a rushed coffee, but with your eyes closed, music moving through you, and your own breath carrying you somewhere quieter and more spacious than you've been in a while.
Sunday Reset is a guided SOMA Breath® journey — a weaving of rhythmic breathing, music, and stillness that helps you drop out of your head and back into your body. This is the heart of the morning, and the reason we gather. You don't need to be experienced, flexible, or "good at meditation." You only need to be willing to breathe and see what arises.
This is your reset — a chance to exhale fully before the week asks anything of you.
It's also an intentionally small gathering — just 12 seats — so the room stays close, personal, and unhurried. This isn't a class you disappear into. It's a circle.
How the morning flows:
- The first hour — your breath journey (the main event): We'll settle in, set an intention, and move through a full guided SOMA Breath® journey set to music, with a gentle landing and a moment to share if you feel called to. If this is all you came for, you'll leave reset and complete.
- BONUS (value of $39): An optional second hour — a quiet glimpse of what's possible: For those who'd like to stay, I'll open up the heart of my work: how breath is only the beginning of a fuller, more sustainable self-care journey — the BLISS™ approach. It's valued at $39. Consider it my gift to anyone curious to go deeper. Stay if it calls you; slip out after the breath if it doesn't.
What this practice tends to support — gently and naturally:
- Body: a calmer nervous system, fresh energy, the feeling of being fully back in yourself
- Mind & heart: quieter mental chatter, emotional lightness, a shift in perspective
- Spirit: a sense of presence and connection that's easy to lose in a full life
When we close, you're free to wander over and enjoy brunch at Afternoon, one of several welcoming neighborhood spots in Grove Street, and the first Gainesville restaurant ever recommended in the Michelin Guide. It's small and really popular on weekends, so reservations are recommended: go in your own time, in small groups, or grab a coffee from their to-go window. Brunch is on your own — the good company is free.
