In a neon-lit city struggling to contain its own unrest, motorcycle gangs rule the streets while government forces tighten their grip. When a reckless rider becomes entangled with mysterious experiments, the balance between rebellion, science, and control begins to fracture. The filmâs striking vision of urban decay and youth in revolt not only tells a powerful story of transformation and conflict, but also went on to influence how audiences worldwide would come to see both anime and science fiction on screen.
