These days, we usually hear the word “woke” used derogatorily by the right-wing. But where did it come from and what did it originally mean? Let’s consider how staying woke relates to spiritual awakening.
Join us this Sunday, Aug. 24 for our August worship series, Awakening, as our minister, Lóre Stevens, shares her message, “Stay Woke.” Our worship service will begin at 10:00 DST this morning in person and on Zoom.
