Please join us for Sunday morning worship. Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month. Join us in person or stream the service live on Facebook or watch at anytime during the week.Welcoming and loving others for who they are is our community’s shared value and identity. “Calvary United Methodist Church believes that all means all. Our service is a traditional United Methodist worship service with liturgy and hymns, but we try to make it accessible to everyone. You don’t have to be a Methodist or go to any church or believe or have any answers to participate authentically in our worship, fellowship and community.
We are blessed to have a pastor who is authentic and relatable, who lives in the neighborhood and is committed to the people of the city, and whose sermons connect in many ways with our everyday lives.
Music is another vital part of who we are. Our 1894 Farrand Votey organ has been restored and is played every Sunday, and our Renewal and Bell Choirs are uplifting and inspirational.
All this happens within a unique cathedral-like sacred space enlightened by three great Tiffany windows depicting the Resurrection, Ascension, and Apocalypse.
If you have walked by the church and been curious… if you have come to the house tours, concerts, or solstice event and wondered… if you have been looking for a safe place to explore your faith again… if you are just visiting the area… you are welcome, and we will welcome you as a person of worth, a person who is loved, and who matters.
