This month we will be:
- Trimming the hedges before the bird-nesting season starts. The hedges are mostly hawthorn or blackthorn, with vicious spikes, so good strong gardening gloves & secateurs or shears are called for. If you don't have cutters don't worry, we have loppers which do well for the thicker branches and a few shears that can tackle the thin branches.
- Conducting a thorough litter-pick before the undergrowth becomes overgrown & masks the litter.
- Clearing away some brambles from some of our more threatened trees. Secateurs & loppers will be useful, & strong gloves are a must.
