We'll be defying labels, although while Straight Ahead Jazz might be a close description at some moments everything from that to Jazz/Fusion, Funk, Latin grooves, Roots Blues to modern Blues/Rock and more is fair game! Creativity, improvisation and artistic freedom are the theme.
As always, S. Fla. bass stalwart Kilmo is hosting this event. PRO musicians whom we've worked with, or are working locally and/or touring, are invited to sit in. This is an excellent networking opportunity to meet other players and perhaps hook up some gigs as well...it's happened! IF YOU'D LIKE TO SIT IN, please do not just walk up and start playing. Say hello first and we'll get you up asap.
FAT CATS has full liquor, dozens of craft beer drafts, bottles & cans and some great bar food! Voted BEST CHEESESTEAK 4 years running!
