Join us for Sunday Groove: A Night of Soul, R&B, and Funk! Key Grip and Ben Lanyon unite to bring you the ultimate celebration of groove music.
Experience the soaring melodies of Whitney Houston, the sultry sounds of D’Angelo, and everything in between as Canberra’s finest and funkiest musicians fill Smiths with infectious grooves.
Key Grip: Canberra’s veteran swinging musicians explore the many shades of blues to give you up tempo and slower tunes, tunes with tasty, interesting progressions, great lyrics and well, tunes.
Ben Lanyon Band: Fresh from cutting his teeth on a full year of gigs with the likes of Rhi Gold, Baker Boys, Tara Liouse and Love Maps, Ben brings together some of the best musicians he’s played to cut loose on their favourite groove tunes. His band will also feature special guest Joanne Prochina on lead vocals!
