Join us for one of the North East’s most loved nights of laughter, music and entertainment as Sunday for Sammy returns to the Utilita Arena!
Over the years, Sunday for Sammy has featured a host of familiar faces including Tim Healy, Chris & Rosie Ramsey, Johnny Vegas, Trevor Horn, Brian Johnson, Kevin Whately, Charlie Hardwick, Jill Halfpenny and many more including our two new patrons Matty Healy from The 1975 and Brenda Blethyn. Expect comedy, music, surprises and plenty of heart.
Who will be there in 2026? You’ll have to come to find out! As always, it’s a closely guarded secret but there’s always some big surprises, you won’t be disappointed!
Established in memory of the late Geordie actor Sammy Johnson, known for his roles in Spender and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Sunday for Sammy celebrates the incredible talent that makes our region shine.
The show raises funds to support emerging creative talent in the North East, helping young performers in music, theatre, comedy and film with grants for training, equipment and opportunities to grow their careers.
