Sunday Family Fun: Pottery Experience for Ages 7 and Up

Come join us for a fun family clay experience on select Sundays from 6:30PM-8:30PM when we open the doors for you and yours (ages 7 and up*) to make some ceramics and memories! Whether it is wheel-throwing some pottery or handbuilding a specific project, you’ll get instruction and help from our talented teachers, time to make your creations and then decorate them. After your class they’ll be given time to dry before we dip them in a clear glaze and fire them for you. Pieces are ready to pick up in about three to four weeks.
*Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, no more than two minors per adult.
Reservations are per person and must be added to the cart individually so that all forms are filled out for each participant.
Project options:
- Wheel Throwing Pottery - Using the potter’s wheel to create a bowl, cup, small vase, or planter - participants will be able to throw as many pieces as they would like and then select their favorite to keep and decorate
- Handbuilding Bowls - Using slab and coil building techniques to create a large bowl that can be decorated with impressed texture using stamps or with carving
- Handbuilding Mugs and Cups - Using slab and coil techniques to create two mugs or cups that can be decorated with impressed texture using stamps or with carving
