Today our brains are drowning in mental overstimulation. Cars, bikes, planes, cell phones, and non-stop media distract us from a well-deserved mental rest. That’s why it’s important to recharge the battery and enjoy a deep rest and relaxation.
The Yoga Nidra and the gentle sounds of Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls will take you on a journey to deep rest and relaxation, where the mind and the body can both return to a state of peace and serenity. The soothing voice of Benjamin who delivers the Yoga Nidra and Anett playing the Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls will cradle you into a Zen-like state, recharging the spirit and revitalizing the soul.
When our brains are active (like right now, reading this text), your brain waves are in a Beta state (which is 20 movements per second!). When late at night you start nodding off in front of the TV, your brain is already slowing down to Alpha state (12 movements per second). When we come into Yoga Nidra accompanied by the calming sounds of the Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls, the brain activity drops to Delta state (0-4 movements per second). When we relax the brain, the mind and the body both rejuvenate. Scientists suggest that one hour of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of four hours of deep rest and sleep. (However, it is not recommended to do two Yoga Nidra’s everyday and skip out on eight hours of sleep).
How?
The first part of the session will include gentle restorative yoga postures that will focus on releasing tension in the hips, lower back, shoulders, and neck area where the body tends to store stress. The second part of the session is reclining in Shavasana, where participants can lie either on their side, belly, or back, supported by cushions and warmly covered in blankets while they will be guided with a Yoga Nidra mediation and accompanied with Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls. After this Sunday evening session, you will feel completely rested and rejuvenated. Some people have a feeling like they had a out of body experience. After the session, you will be able to fall asleep again and sleep even deeper.
What do you need?
Comfortable clothing, socks, an eye cushion is recommended, preferably not to drink any coffee or alcohol a couple of hours prior to the session, and an open mind.
About Anett
When asking artists what’s the most powerful and moving kind of art, most likely the answers gravitate towards: Music. For ages, music and sounds have been used as the perfect vehicle to transmit a particular state of feeling: religious and spiritual ceremonies, concerts, festivals, the list goes on and on. When sounds are produced in harmonious ways, they have a relieving and healing effect on the body, mind, and soul. My goal is to create awareness of the Healing Power of Sounds and share my passion with the World. My Sound Healing sessions are performed in a group and individual level. At a group level, sometimes I combine it with my Yoga Nidra partner Benjamin Roberts which adds a special effect to this unique collaboration full of passion and love to share with our audience. As a mother of a beautiful son, I also sense the incredible reaction from children to Sound Healing which brings calmness to this modern life filled with noise. Both group and individual sessions have unique differences, in a way I incorporate different sounds and other instruments apart from singing bowls to create the perfect atmosphere to fill you in with positivism and harmony.

About Benjamin
Everything we need to heal ourselves is safely stored in the unconscious mind. When we tap into the powers of the unconscious mind through practices such as Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing, the spirit blossoms like a flower and we begin to heal ourselves. After struggling with sleep problems in combination with mental ruminating (usually waking me up at 4am), Yoga Nidra calmed my overactive brain and helped me sleep. The words of the Yoga Nidra work like magic. They enter the unconscious and heal the conscious mind where it is needed. Delivering the Yoga Nidra allows me to share this special healing experience with others and help bring an inner peace for them. When we work on healing ourselves, we help heal those around us as well. Together with Anett playing the Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls, the mind during the Yoga Nidra will float into a mystical sea of serenity. And I now I can’t tell you anything else….. because that’s where the magic happens.
