In Michigan, July is a time for leisure—travel, gatherings, and a slower pace of life. But did people in the ancient world experience leisure too? And how do we know? This tour will explore some of the food and drinks enjoyed at social gatherings, where and how those gatherings took place, and how we know children of the ancient world had time for fun and games as well. Come spend some of your summer downtime learning about ancient leisure!
