Sunday DEEP is the latest expansion to the Rört schedule and features a senior teacher guiding a 120 minute deep dive into a corner of their field. Taking place on Sundays - the vibe will be chilled and there will be no grand learning ambitions. Much more the focus is on the experience, the journey and the deep dive itself. THE ART OF GRAVITY with Dorte Bjerre:
This class will lead from individual work into physical contact with other sensing and moving bodies. The theme is gravity as our constant companion, a force we all have in common as humans and non-human on this planet earth. Through playfully guided explorations, we work with sensing where the direction of down is, by letting gravity inform our bodies. You will get tools to move on your own, and tools for being in physical contact with others. It will be playful, sweaty, challenging and fun, and you will get to use and experience your body in a different way. It is for EVERYbody.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Dorte Bjerre Jensen: “As an art worker, researcher, facilitator, writer, therapist and human being my practice and teaching is deeply rooted in bodily awareness and how we respond to our environment and in relation to each other. Through compassionate teaching, I aim to give you the opportunity to listen to yourself and become aware of the need for both touch and boundaries – and how they can coexist.”
