Come along for our first ever Sunday Brunch Comedy Show in Brooklyn Park! Freshly Squeezed Comedy is the high-energy, wacky standup duo of Lefty Crumpet & Jesse The Shrink. We book, produce, and perform in our own sold-out shows throughout the state of Minnesota. Lefty brings his silly songs & Jesse brings his unique perspectives as a licensed therapist (yes he really is a shrink & yes, that probably means he's analyzing you).

For this special brunch show we're bringing Twin Cities favorites Tobi Shamu & Pege Miller! Skaalven Distillery is also serving up a menu of food & drink choices curated specifically for this show, including their Breakfast Dog (cheese-wrapped craft hot dog with bacon bits, mayo, & Hawaiian paniolo relish) & The Great Bam Bam Dino (a Fruity Pebbles milk punch)!

ABOUT OUR COMEDIANS:

Our first featured comedian is Tobi Shamu! Since first taking the stage in 2018, Tobi has been bringing laughter to diverse crowds with captivating stage presence & witty storytelling. Pulling from his personal & work life as well as his history growing up in an immigrant family, he wears many social hats & it shows in his honest point-of-view comedy. Tobi was a Funniest Person in Minneapolis finalist at Sisyphus Brewing's Comedy Room & finished 2nd place in the Funniest Person with a Day Job comedy contest at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in Mall of America. He currently hosts the Date Night podcast & has performed in the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival.

Our next featured comedian is Pege Miller! Pege started her comedy career at the Honolulu Comedy Club on the island of Oahu, Hawaii & she's been making audiences from Hawaii to the Midwest laugh ever since! Known for her high-energy & positive-vibes demeanor, along with a sharp sense of humor that will leave you in stitches, Pege has become a favorite performer at comedy clubs across the Twin Cities & beyond.

Lefty Crumpet is a 25-year-old, Minneapolis-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. He started doing standup comedy in college & immediately fell in love with the stage. His love of playing music led him to begin incorporating comedy songs into his standup performances. He lifts your hearts and minds with absurd and hilarious jokes and tunes, about various topics ranging from relationships to Doordash.
Lefty was a finalist in the Funniest Person With a Day Job contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in Mall of America & is co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy. You can find him bringing joy and confusion to crowds all over the Midwest.

Jesse The Shrink is a bona fide licensed therapist & comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the often hilarious inner-workings of a mental health professional. Whether he's talking about trying online therapy for the first time during an apocolypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, once you hear Jesse's stories you'll never view therapy (or your therapist) the same again!

Jesse produces & hosts Jesse The Shrink's Midlife Crisis Show, the St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show, Friday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing, the 420 Standup Comedy Show, the Funniest Person in St Paul contest, & runs a weekly open mic at Gambit Brewing.

He was a 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job finalist at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in Mall of America, has been a guest on the KQRS Morning Show & Tom Barnard Podcast, & is co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy.
