Since their founding in 2021, Portland OR based Chad Rupp and The Sugar Roots has been entertaining festival crowds across the west coast, and climbing international radio play charts. All three of their Lightning In A Bottle records releases have received stellar international reviews and charted strongly on the Roots Music Report in multiple categories. Additionally their 2024 release “The Devil Won’t Get You” was nominated for a prestigious Cascade Blues Association Muddy Award for “Album Of The Year” that same year.
Chad’s engaging performance style is captivating and his fiery guitar work is worthy of note. With originals that you can’t forget, and a performance energy that leaves a visible mark, Chad always brings a memorable show to every audience that experiences him.
