SUNDAY Birmingham Settlement Neighbourhood Futures Festival

Founded in 1899 as part of a movement for social reform, Birmingham Settlement provides a range of services in some of Birmingham's most marginalised communities.

Now in its second year, the Neighbourhood Futures Festival brings together people in the city to celebrate and enjoy our green spaces - and explore their future.

Join us at our Nature & Wellbeing Centre in Ladywood - right next to Edgbaston Reservoir - for 4 days of FREE friendly activity, family fun, walks & talks, wellbeing sessions, arts & crafts, music & performance, conversations, educational workshops, and interactive learning - all in the beauitiful surrounds of nature.

With lots to engage with during the festival, come down, soak in the summer at the Reservoir and get involved!

SUNDAY PROGRAMME

Don't miss out on the final day of community fun at our Neighbourhood Futures Festival!

A relaxed day to unwind on the field, take part in gentle Tai Chi, paint a flower pot, join a bird spotting walk around the Reservoir, or try out body-mapping for wellbeing.

With micro-greens sowing workshops, exploring the nostalgia of childhood memories and their connection to plants and soil to soundbathing in nature, the festival will be the perfect place to relax!

Wiith lots for families too including arts and crafts, an interactive storytelling of Elmer's Walk with Riverside Performing Arts, Belinda Bins whizzing round the festival field on her mission to reduce plastic waste, and fun and games on the field.

Improving Minds will be providing the entertainment with their Summer Showcase, and join us to bring the festival to aclose with a neighbourhood open mic - come one, come all!
